The Arlanda Express is the airport train between Stockholm Arlanda and Stockholm Central Station. It takes 18 minutes to the South station (terminals 2, 3 and 4) and 19 minutes to the North station (terminal 5), and runs every 15 minutes. A one-way adult ticket costs SEK 340 (about €30), a return SEK 640 (about €57). Children up to 17 travel free with a paying adult.
It is the fastest way into the city, but not the cheapest for one person. The Flygbussarna coach costs SEK 129 (about €11) and takes about 40 minutes. The SL commuter train costs SEK 200 (about €18) including the airport fee. No city pass, including the Go City pass, covers any of the three.

For one adult the coach is cheapest; for two adults or a family the train is often both faster and cheaper per person. Extra adults on the same Arlanda Express booking pay much less than the first one, and children up to 17 ride free with an adult. Youth fares (18 to 25) and pensioner fares (65+) also exist.
The coach can be booked online or bought on board by card. On SL you pay with a contactless card at the gate, but the airport passage fee of SEK 157 (about €14) applies to every adult, even with a 72-hour or 7-day SL travelcard. SL tickets are not valid on the Arlanda Express.
At Arlanda, follow the yellow Arlanda Express signs: the South station sits below terminals 2, 3 and 4, the North station below terminal 5. In the city the train arrives at platforms 1 and 2 of Stockholm Central, the main railway station, with the metro and buses right outside. Single and return tickets are valid for 90 days.
The Flygbussarna coaches stop outside the terminals and end at Cityterminalen, the bus terminal next to Stockholm Central. Both options bring you to the same part of the city, so choose by price and time, not by location.
Swedavia-contracted taxis wait outside arrivals at terminals 2 and 5. Within a marked zone the maximum price is SEK 800 for one to four passengers. Ask for the fixed price before you get in, check that it shows on the meter, and never accept a ride offered inside the arrivals hall.
No. The Go City All-Inclusive Pass covers 65+ attractions, boat tours and the hop-on hop-off buses, but no airport transfer and no SL public transport. Budget the transfer separately: about SEK 340 (about €30) each way by train or SEK 129 (about €11) by coach. If you plan a busy sightseeing schedule, the Stockholm Pass can still save money on the attractions themselves.
